With FmK's Info Event fast approaching, we caught up with the exhibitors who will be in attendance for a chat on who they are and what they do.
First in the spotlight is Ryan Daly - the company Director and Founder of Daly Renewable Energy Systems.
Ryan, tell us a bit about Daly Renewables...
We design, install and commission underfloor heating, heat pump and solar systems (PV & Thermal), heat recovery ventilation systems and central vacuum systems. The company was formed in 2010 and we have won a number of awards for our quality of service and engineering excellence. Our 'one stop shop' approach gives our clients peace of mind that we can see the project through from inception to completion and we are there to provide after sales support if required, which is hugely important to us.
What do you enjoy most about your role within the company?
Commissioning of the Systems. This is all done in house. It is the most rewarding part of the process when installing a system in someone's home, as it allows you to demonstrate to the client that you are delivering a system to them which performs to the level that it was sold to them at.
Are you looking forward to being a part of FmK's Information Event on the 5th and 7th November?
Yes, based on previous events with FmK, this should be another great one for the Daly team!
What can visitors to the event talk to you about?
Underfloor Heating, Ground & Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar Thermal & Solar PV Systems and Mechanical Heat Recovery Ventilation Systems - how they operate, what their benefits are, maintenance requirements, costs, grants and more.
How have you found working with FmK Architecture in the past?
Very good, FmK are a progressive and forward thinking company who put a lot of emphasis on creating a low energy home which makes this type of property a perfect fit for the systems that we specialise in.
Finally, have you anything else you'd like to say?
We installed the heating system in FmK Director Ronan McKee's home which he is very happy with and having worked on numerous projects with FmK. We have had excellent feedback on how our systems have performed in houses they have designed and we have heated - however, we are modest enough to know that a lot of this is down to the excellent building fabric which FmK will deliver for you!
